Celebrate the culture and creativity of North Paddington

Join us for North Paddington Creates, a new, vibrant and diverse programme of creative events and activities in North Paddington.

Led by local organisations, inspiring workshops, exhibitions, performances, and screenings will take place across Westbourne, Harrow Road, and Queens Park. Events will run throughout the year, many of which are free of charge, and something will be on offer for all ages.

The UK Government funds North Paddington Creates through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

A Carnival Arts Retrospective Exhibition

Explore Carnival costumes through immersive exhibits and hands-on workshops, delving into the history and creativity behind the tradition. This new exhibition, free to all, explores the intricate art of costume design, construction and production.

Elevate and Create Art Fair

9 to 10 November 2024

This new art fair will champion local and emerging talent from West London. Artists will showcase their artworks in Grand Junction's beautifully renovated crypt, and artist Gail Astbury will host free etching workshops on both days.

Language, culture, slang at Queen’s Park - A Short Film

A 12-week project supporting a group of eight young people from The Avenues to plan, record, edit and showcase a short film. Inspired by a 20-year-old film covering similar themes, this short will explore how language and slang inform communication styles and young people's experiences. 

The project will run from September to December 2024
