Events in Westminster for everyone to enjoy
Fancy taking an immersive walk in the art of Van Gogh? Or wandering through Mayfair on the trail of sculpture? These are just some of the attractions you can visit in the coming months which feature in Westminster City Council’s new events calendar.
The calendar of activities for this summer has been launched to encourage visitors and residents to come and see what the city has to offer.
The anticipated Marble Arch Mound will also be open to members of the public in July, with tickets going on sale on June 21.
The 25-metre-high mound will be the only new outdoor tourist attraction in London this summer, which will provide excellent views of Hyde Park, Mayfair and Marylebone.
All of the activities have been created in collaboration with Westminster’s well-known cultural institutions and visitor attractions, as well as our hospitality and retail partners.
Cllr Rachael Robathan, Leader of Westminster City Council, said:
We want to see people back in our city, safely exploring all the outstanding culture, and attending the brilliant attractions which people of all ages can enjoy. We have so much on offer this summer you won’t want to miss - with theatre shows back open in the West End, and fantastic art in Mayfair.
A particular exciting highlight will be the Marble Arch Mound. There are also so many fabulous places to eat across Westminster, with 60 streets benefiting from temporary road closures or pavement widening to allow for al fresco dining.
