More parents and carers receive first choice of Westminster primary school on National Offer Day

Parents and carers were notified on Tuesday which Westminster school their children will begin in September.

This year in Westminster, 87.2% of parents and carers received their first choice of school, an increase of 1% from 2021.

There has also been an increase in the total number of children receiving a place at one of their top three schools, rising from 95.7% last year to 96.4%.

Richard Stanley, Westminster City Council’s Deputy Director of Education, said:

We’re pleased to see the majority of children in Westminster will be attending one of their top three schools in September.

We want every child to get the best start to their education journey and at our excellent Westminster primary schools, children have access to high-quality teaching and support from the beginning.

There are a range of options for those who have yet to receive a place.
