Westminster City Council was appointed to hold a ballot for the proposed renewal and alternation of the Marble Arch Business Improvement District.
Today it was announced that the proposed BID has been successful in its ballot, 102 out of 107 votes with the majority of the business ratepayers in the proposed BID area who voted, voting in favour of the proposal, both by aggregate rateable value and total number.
The renewal of the Business Improvement District for Marble Arch will commence from 1 April 2021 – 31 March 2026. The City Council has a statutory duty to hold BID ballots for any BID proposals. The ballot opened on 4 February 2021 and closed at 5pm on 4 March 2021. The result was declared on 5 March 2021.
