The new edition of Westminster Plus is now arriving on doorsteps across the City. Published three times a year, Westminster Plus is packed with the latest information, news and events for our older communities.
The spring/summer 2021 edition takes aim at digital exclusion in the City. While the world of technology can often feel intimidating or unnecessarily complicated, it needn’t be. This issue offers advice on how to embrace the digital frontier without fear, test out new gadgets to boost your independence, stay alert to scams, and even sign up to share your tech know-how with others.
We also talk to the 98-year-old grandmother getting on her bike to raise funds for the West London Mission homelessness charity, and feature Westminster Connects’ oldest volunteer who is proving that you’re never too old to make a positive difference in your community.
With a round-up of exciting activities to take part in during the next few months, a look ahead to this year’s Silver Sunday and SouthWestFest events and the latest advice on vaccinations for older residents in Westminster, this is an issue with something for everyone.
If you haven’t received a printed edition, you can find them across the City at libraries, leisure centres and other community centres. You can also download a PDF version:
