#MyWestminster fund

Your application 

The fund is open to all voluntary organisations, resident, faith and community groups within Westminster. This includes schools and other establishments which care for Westminster residents (such as residential care homes). 

The closing date for this round of applications is Friday 23 February.

All individual applications must be for under £10,000. 

Your project must support one of these themes: 

  • community leadership and cohesion 
  • pride in vibrant, mixed neighbourhoods 
  • air quality and the environment 
  • young people 

*However, we will welcome applications for events in a individual ward (during the first round of funding from January to March 2018) if they run at the same time as our MyWestminster Day in summer. If you interested in applying on this basis, email mywestminsterfund@westminster.gov.uk.

We cannot accept bids for funds supporting revenue costs of an organisation, or bids from individuals. All projects must finish by end of March 2020. 

If shortlisted, all organisations bidding for funding will be subject to legal and financial due diligence.

Bidding

There will be four rounds of bidding over the 2 year period. 

January to Friday 23rd February 2018, with funds awarded in March 2018. 

June to August 2018, with funds awarded in September 2018. 

January to early March 2019, with funds awarded in April 2019. 

June to August 2019, with funds awarded in September 2019.

All bids will be considered by officers from the Council. Final decisions on funding will be decided by a Member Board, chaired by Councillor David Harvey, Cabinet Member for Environment, Sports and Community.
