Our contractor, Morgan Sindall, is onsite undertaking a series of security and safety improvements at Longleat and Thorndike Houses.

The work includes:

  • New fob access-controlled security gates and railings.
  • New door entry and access control (KMS).
  • Security lighting to gated areas.
  • Overhaul of telecoms cabling.

For more details on the plans click here.

The plans have been developed using advice and evidence provided by residents, the local police, the Council's Planning Team and Historic England to improve the safety and wellbeing of the residents on the estate.

The new fob access controlled gates went live on Tuesday 21 December 2021.

If you have not collected your fob, please contact Customer Services on 0800 358 3783 or email [email protected], to arrange collection.
