Markets in Westminster

There are six markets in Westminster which require a street trading licence to trade, including privately run Farmer's Markets.

Berwick Street W1

  • About: This is one of London’s oldest markets. Founded in 1778, Berwick Street sells a range of traditional products. - it's also known as Soho’s main lunchtime food destination.
  • Times: The market operates Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm.

  • Commodities: fruit and vegetables, flowers, coffee, dairy products, international take away foods.

We are accepting applications for temporary licences for both food and non-food commodities. We would also encourage you to consider trading on a casual licence (non-food only) as an opportunity to test your business before applying for a temporary licence.
