Holding an event in Westminster

The City of Westminster is home to some of the most iconic event locations in the world.

Timescales

We are currently experiencing an exceptionally high volume of enquiries, it may take us up to three working days to respond to your enquiries. Thank you for your patience.

Please note that our timescales are full working days from the time we receive an application fee, not when an application is submitted.

Even though our minimum timescales are below, applications have to be submitted prior to give sufficient time for them to be reviewed, manually logged, and a payment request sent out so that you can pay for them in sufficient time.

Please allow as much time as you can if your event needs permits and licences.

These timings are from your date of payment rather than from when you apply and are intended as a guideline only. Some events may require more time, depending on their scale and complexity.

All notice times refer to the minimum notice period, and are working days from payment.

We also offer a pre-application consultation service. This can help you to identify opportunities and costs to help you with your decision-making ahead of a full application. The pre-application consultation needs to take place 10 to 15 working days before existing timescales are triggered.
