Team Westminster Social Action
Become a Social Action volunteer to make a difference to your local community. Opportunities with Social Action include transforming your local park, painting a school fence, or organising a local street party.
Better yet, each opportunity is one-off no-strings and perfect if you want to make a difference but can’t always dedicate the time. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and lots of energy.
Past volunteering sessions have included:
- painting a playground in a local school
- lifting all the spring bedding from a park
- creating a wildlife area in a school
- supporting an elders' party
- providing digital support for isolated older people
- running a picnic for older people in Regents' Park
- helping to maintain equipment at a children’s charity
- preparing a soup kitchen
