Charing Cross Library

Charing Cross Library has three community rooms for hire which are available during the library's opening hours.

Basement room

This room is ideal for delivering and recording online activities as well as live events.

Facilities and equipment:

  • room size is 8.50m x 12m
  • tables, chairs and other working surfaces are available 
  • free wifi
  • projector and screen available on request 
  • private kitchenette (fridge, sink and small kettle)
  • no refreshments, crockery or cutlery are supplied but you are welcome to bring your own 
  • private toilet facilities
  • the room has a wooden parquet floor

This room is in the basement and the library is not wheelchair accessible.

First floor meeting room

Facilities and equipment:

  • capacity for 2 people
  • ideal for 1:1 meetings
  • tables and chairs available 
  • free wifi

This room is on the first floor and the library is not wheelchair accessible.

Second floor meeting room

Facilities and equipment:

  • capacity for 10 people
  • ideal for delivering and recording online activities as well as live events
  • lots of natural light and ventilation from windows on two sides
  • room size is 4.50m x 4m
  • tables and chairs available 
  • free wifi
  • projector and screen available on request
  • separate toilet from the library
  • the room has a wooden parquet floor

This room is on the second floor and the library is not wheelchair accessible.
