Safe and secure grant
This grant covers work to repair door and window locks, door chains, smoke detectors, door viewers, fire blankets, door reinforcing strips and security lights.
The work must be carried out by Westminster Maintenance Services, the approved contractor on behalf of the Council.
People who are eligible to apply:
- owners and occupants
- private or housing association tenants
In these 2 categories, the person must be either over 60 years, below 60 years and on benefits or disabled.
- council tenant (the person must be either over 60 years or disabled)
- anyone who has been burgled at least once in the last 12 months
