5 to 15 year housing supply schedule

The National Planning Policy Framework requires local boroughs to identify and update annually a supply of specific deliverable sites sufficient to provide 5 years’ worth of housing against their housing requirements and an additional buffer of 5% (moved forward from later in the plan period) to ensure choice and competition in the market for land. 

Westminster City Council is delivering a flexible supply of land for housing. We have identified a list of developable sites to deliver housing over the next 5 years, and a further list of proposed sites which could deliver housing in the next 6 to10 years and 11 to 15 years.

This list is based on unimplemented planning permissions for residential development, sites for which there is an existing planning brief, housing renewal or regeneration sites, ‘Proposals Sites’ identified in Westminster’s City Plan (adopted November 2016) and sites from the GLA Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (Summer 2017).
