Homework clubs in the library

If you are 7 to 13 years old then come along to Westminster libraries' free homework clubs during term-time.

Library Day Time
Church Street Thursday 3.45pm to 5.30pm
Marylebone Wednesday 3.45pm to 5pm
Mayfair Tuesday 3.45pm to 5pm
Paddington Children's Monday and Friday 3.30pm to 5.15pm
St John's Wood Wednesday 3.30pm to 4.30pm

Facilities

Each club has:

  • volunteers to provide help and assistance
  • a wide range of books
  • friendly surroundings
  • photocopiers
  • several computers with Internet access and printers

Joining

You will need to come into the library and fill in a form to join the clubs. Your parent or guardian will need to come with you to sign the form.

Online resource to help children practise Maths and English

IXL is an online learning experience that provides comprehensive, curriculum-based Maths and English for children in Reception up to Year 13. The website is designed to keep children engaged with their learning by providing fun awards. It also provides parents/guardians with detailed reports on their children’s progress.

What you will find on IXL:

  • Fun awards - to keep children motivated
  • Detailed parent reports - so they can stay in the know

Please note: parents/guardians will need to sign up at your local Westminster library and provide passwords and usernames in order to be able access the site.
