Are you worried about your weight? Have you ever tried to lose weight but found it difficult? Lost a little then regained it? If so, you’re not alone: a large number of young people in Westminster are also working to achieve a healthy weight.

The good news is that it doesn’t have to be as complicated as you might think. By making a few simple changes to your lifestyle, you can really start to see and feel the benefits.

If you would like some help, there are a range of friendly and non-judgemental services in Westminster to help you.

MEND

MEND is a fun exercise and nutrition programme for teenagers up to the age of 19. It's run by Mytime Active, and you'll be supported by other young people who are taking part in the programme.

ThriveTribe

If you're over the age of 19, ThriveTribe offers a 12-week group exercise programme. You'll be teamed up with local leisure and community groups to give you the best experience and expertise possible.

NHS

If you feel like you might need more specialist support, your GP may be able to refer you to NHS services such as the
specialist weight management clinic at Central London Community Healthcare and the healthy weight team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Contact your GP directly to discuss this with them.
