From Monday 16 to Saturday 21 April 2018 the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) is taking place in London, with events in Westminster involving world leaders, foreign ministers and thousands of visitors.

Events are taking place in and around parts of St James’s Park, Green Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and the QEII Centre; along Park Lane and Piccadilly in the area of the Intercontinental Hotel; and at the Royal Albert Hall.

For more information on local road and cycle lane closures, event timings, and vehicle and pedestrian access visit CHOGM.

There will also be some disruption to bus routes around key venues which may cause delay to your journey. Check your travel and plan ahead at TfL.

Waste and recycling collections will be affected during CHOGM and will take place as soon as access is possible by the council’s collections crews. If you have any issues with your residential waste collections, please contact 020 7641 2000. If you need to discuss your business waste collections please contact commercialwaste@westminster.gov.uk or phone 020 7641 6180.
