Housing, retail and other construction developments throughout Westminster contribute to the CIL, which is then used to fund projects that improve the health and wellbeing of users and residents, such as increasing the range of facilities offered at Paddington Recreation Ground.
Cllr Iain Bott, Westminster City Council Cabinet Member for Sports, Culture and Community said: “The new community suite will offer residents an even bigger choice of activities to help them both meet new people and get and stay active. The open day is free so I’d encourage everyone to come down and see what is on offer at Paddington Recreation Ground.”
Cheyenne Green, General Manager at Paddington Recreation Ground said;
“We are really excited to be opening our new community suite here at Paddington Recreation and delighted to be able to expand our offering. The new suite will allow more opportunities for people to find an activity they love and we hope to see lots of faces, both old and new, come to join us for our community open day to celebrate the launch.”
