Time is running out for active individuals, schools, clubs, places and spaces in Westminster to enter the 10th annual ActiveWestminster Awards 2019 with the deadline for nominations set for 5pm on Friday October 11, 2019.
The ActiveWestminster Awards are free to enter. Several categories are open to nominations, to recognise a diverse range of people and organisations that have made a significant contribution to physical activity, sport and leisure in Westminster, including:
· Active Club or Organisation
· Champion of the Future
· London Youth Games
· Active School
· Active Place or Space
· Health Wellbeing and Community Project
· Active Inclusive
· Active Coach
· Active Volunteer
· Outstanding Contribution
The ActiveWestminster Awards focus on celebrating the achievements of Westminster residents, local clubs, the partners of ActiveWestminster, staff, managers and local talent. From large scale facilities and life-changing activities, to neighbourhood projects and homegrown Olympic athletes, ActiveWestminster aims to encourage Westminster residents to become and stay active.
This year’s awards will be held on Friday 22nd November at Porchester Hall - operated by Everyone Active on behalf of Westminster City Council. The shortlisted finalists will be named on Friday October 28, 2019.
