Applications to be registered to vote at this election, from persons not already registered to vote, must be received by midnight on Tuesday 7 May 2019. You can register to vote online at GOV.UK.
European Union citizens, other than British, Irish, Cypriot or Maltese, must complete an additional form (see section 'EU citizen living in the UK') if they wish to vote in the UK rather than in their home member state. The Local Returning Officer for the City of Westminster has posted out this application form to all the relevant European Union citizens who appeared on the Register of Electors as at 1 April. The form must be received by midnight on Tuesday 7 May 2019.
Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 8 May 2019.
New applications to vote by proxy (where an elector appoints a person to vote on their behalf) at this election must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 15 May 2019.
Polling day will be on Thursday 23 May 2019. The hours of poll will be 7am to 10pm.
All persons who are eligible to vote at the election will receive a poll card. Poll cards are sent for information purposes and electors are not required to take their poll card with them in order to vote.
