We are exploring the potential to bring new affordable homes to Westminster. Dale House is located on the Boundary Road Estate in the St John’s Wood ward.
We are proposing to redevelop three parking spaces behind Dale House and Walthan House (Boundary Road Estate Site B), to create new affordable homes in Westminster.
Thank you to everyone who attended the public exhibitions in February 2020 and provided us with valuable feedback on our early proposals.
Following our conversations with residents and after undertaking further technical design work, we decided that the proposal for new homes at Whitby House is not viable and we will not be progressing with this.
We will now focus on our proposals for new homes at Dale House, working to develop and improve the designs, incorporating feedback from the consultation.
To achieve the highest design standards for our residents we are currently procuring a new architect. We have therefore extended the consultation timeline and will be coming back to the community for feedback later in the year.
We are also developing our online consultation methods, including bespoke websites, webinars, online meetings, and materials which can be circulated by post, email or online. These channels will be used alongside our traditional in-person meetings and drop-in sessions to give you more ways to give us your feedback.
