We are working very hard to ensure that we offer support to people rough sleeping during this public health crisis. During the COVID-19 lockdown in the spring, we placed a total of 266 rough sleepers in emergency accommodation and moved more than 240 people into settled accommodation, including placing around 50 people into council housing, while helping others into the private rented sector.
Our outreach teams are still out every day talking to rough sleepers in very difficult circumstances and working to bring them into accommodation wherever they can.
