Test and Trace Support Payment

Test and Trace Support Payments for people who have a low income and are required to self-isolate

From 28 September 2020, a Test and Trace Support Payment of £500 is potentially available if you are self-isolating because of COVID-19 and you are either employed or self-employed. The payment is to support people on low incomes who are unable to work from home if they are told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace and lose income as a result.

Test and Trace Support Payments for parents/guardians of a child who has been advised to self-isolate

As of 8 March, parents and guardians of children who have been advised to self-isolate by their education setting or by NHS Test and Trace, and will lose income as a result of having to take time off work to care for the child or young person are able to apply for a payment if they meet the eligibility criteria.
