We’re improving the support you and your family receive in Westminster. As part of this, we have created three Family Hubs offering more support and advice that now includes families with children up to 19 years of age (25 with SEND).
The Family Hub means the professionals who support you working together – including health visitors, school nurses, outreach teams, early help workers, social workers and local organisations.
About us
Queen’s Park Family Hub provides a range of services for children up to the age of 19 and their families. These services are based around a ‘core offer’ of integrated early learning, parenting courses, family support, health services, outreach services and access to training and employment advice.
There is a variety of services for parents and children which take place in the family hub and these include:
- drop-in sessions
- parenting groups
- Family and Communities Employment Service (FACES)
- breastfeeding support sessions
- young Parents sessions
- child health clinic
- My time active, one-to-one dietitian
- Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)
- baby massage
- Baby and Me groups (Maternity Champions)
Family Navigators
The Family Hub has two Family Navigators whose role is to help families navigate the maze of local services and find the help and support they need. Many of these services run at the Family Hub or are linked to it. If you would like to speak to a Family Navigator please ask the hub staff.
