People from across Westminster are being invited by Westminster City Council & Everyone Active, which operates seven leisure centres across the borough, to enjoy free fitness classes and Personal Training taster sessions to mark National Fitness Day on Wednesday 25th September.
National Fitness Day is the country’s biggest celebration of physical activity. The annual event, which is co-ordinated by ukactive, encourages the nation to enjoy the benefits of physical activity which include improved health, weight management, happiness and wellbeing.
Last year National Fitness Day helped to get more than four million people active across 20,000 free events – making it the most active day of the year in the UK. This year aims to encourage even more people to get active with a host of free activities on offer.
Everyone Active is offering people across Westminster a choice of free activities including:
At Porchester Centre, Queensway, London W2 5HS
· Hot Yoga 1000 to 1100
· Body combat 1215 to 1300
· Body Pump 1800 to 1900
· Hot Yoga 1800 to 1900
· Capoeira 1900 to 2000 (this is an Afro-Brazilian martial arts-based dance class)
· Circuits 2045 to 2145
· Plus, free virtual RPM cycle classes at 0645, 12 noon and 1430

Porchester Centre is also offering free PT taster sessions throughout the day for the public which can be booked by emailing the fitness manager at email@example.com.
At Seymour Leisure Centre, Marylebone, W1H 5TJ
· Members are invited to bring a buddy to enjoy the gym, pool or a group exercise class that day for free
· Free Gym Taster session for everyone
· Free Virtual RPM Indoor Cycling Class all day
At Marshall Street Leisure Centre, Soho, W1F 7EL
· Members are invited to bring a friend for free to use the gym or pool
· Free Personal Training taster sessions for new members
· Discounts on spa treatments plus a free 25-minute massage if three treatments are booked on National Fitness Day (to be enjoyed on the day or at a later date)
