Before having your marriage or civil partnership ceremony, there are several important things you need to do.

Statutory wedding or civil partnership

This is a brief, basic ceremony held in an administrative office at the Westminster Register Office on 317 Harrow Road London W9. The ceremonies take place on selected Tuesdays only. 

This ceremony cannot be personalised or enhanced with things such as music or readings. Only two guests are permitted, and they will need to act as witnesses. Both witnesses should be over the age of 16 and able to speak and understand English.

This ceremony costs £67, which includes registrar’s attendance and one certificate only. These ceremonies are not available to book online. Please complete the contact form to make an enquiry.

You plus two ceremony

This is a brief, basic ceremony for a wedding or civil partnership held in one of our seven beautiful rooms at the Old Marylebone Town Hall. There is limited availability mainly on Tuesday mornings during the off peak season - October to April. There is no availability on any other day of the week including weekends. The You plus Two ceremonies are not available at any time during the busy peak period of May to September

This ceremony costs £240 (£250 from April 2022 onwards), which includes registrar’s attendance and one certificate only. This is available to book online via  A Day to Remember.
