Asia House

Asia House is a stunning 18th century Georgian townhouse with elegant rooms, moulded high ceilings, marble fireplaces and stunning chandeliers.

The Marylebone venue is an oasis of calm and elegance, and is available to hold marriage and civil partnership ceremonies from Friday to Sunday for up to 100 guests.

Our current partnership arrangement with Asia House will come to an end on 31 December 2017. If you wish to marry there from January 2018, please contact Asia House on 020 7307 5454 before booking your registrars to attend your ceremony.

1. Location

The venue has a great central London location, just five minutes from Oxford Circus and Marylebone High Street.

2. Ceremony rooms

There are 5 ceremony rooms to choose from:

Fine Room One

This first room seats up to 100 guests and is the largest and grandest of the ceremony rooms at Asia House. Bathed in natural light from the south facing windows, this magnificent room also offers a marbled fireplace and an ornate ceiling dating back to the 18th century.

Fine Room Two

This first floor room seats up to 50 guests (24 facing the fireplace) and is located at the top of a sweeping central staircase. The rooms adorned ceiling is painted with Renaissance scenes and hung with a stunning chandelier.

Fine Room Three

This first floor room seats up to 18 guests (30 facing the exit) and is the most intimate and romantic of the ceremony rooms at Asia House. The beautiful, circular painted ceiling dates back to the 18th century and an ornate fireplace provides a stunning focus point for the room.

The Sir Peter Wakefield Room (Library)

This atmospheric ground floor room seats up to 45 guests (20 facing the fireplace) and is home to the Asia House library, with bookshelves designed by Sir John Soane.

The Hutchison Whampoa Room

This versatile bright ground floor room can accommodate 40 guests (20 facing the fireplace). The Hutchison Room offers beautiful Georgian town house features.

3. Open evenings

Join us for an open evening at Asia House where you will be able to view the ceremony rooms and chat with our registrars.

Our open evenings are on the first Monday of every month from 5:30pm to 7pm.

January's open evening will be on Monday 9 January instead of the first Monday of the month.

4. Fees

Prices include a non-refundable £75 booking fee, the ceremony room, the registrars’ attendance and 1 certificate.

Booking information 

If your ceremony is more than 4 months away, only the £75 booking fee must be paid at the time of booking, with the remaining amount due at least 4 months before the ceremony.

If your ceremony is less than 4 months away, the full amount for the ceremony including the booking fee must be paid at the time of booking.

Bookings are subject to terms and conditions. Cancellation and amendment fees apply.

Reception hire is not included.

5. Accessibility

The Sir Peter Wakefield Room (Library) is located on the ground floor.

The Fine Rooms are all located on the first floor and are accessible by stairs or lift.

6. Book your ceremony

Please call 020 7641 7500 to check the availability of the registrars and book their attendance.

Please note: Registrars only attend Asia House for scheduled ceremonies and there is no administrative office on-site.
