Out and About offers complimentary tickets to Westminster residents aged 65 or above, to attend cultural events such as concerts, exhibitions, film and theatre shows. You need to become a member of the scheme in order to receive tickets.
Previous offers have included tickets to the Turner Prize Exhibition at Tate Britain, Eaton Square Concerts, Young Classical Artists Trust concerts at Wigmore Hall and English National Opera Dress Rehearsals.
The scheme promotes these free tickets by email to Westminster residents and by notices distributed to House Scheme managers and the library service.
The scheme is based entirely on voluntary donations from our partner organisations and therefore the choice of seating and the number of tickets are limited.
To become a member, contact Richard Trow by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, age, postal address, telephone number and email address if you have one.
If you use a wheelchair or any walking aid, please tell us so that we may inform each venue. Staff are happy to make any arrangements necessary.
Seating at ENO Dress Rehearsals is restricted to an area which is high and steep; these tickets aren't suitable for anyone suffering from dizziness or vertigo.
Send requests for tickets to Richard Trow at email@example.com before the deadline stated in the notice. Tickets will be allocated within three working days
Out and About offers a maximum of two tickets per household for each performance. Guests should also be residents aged 65 and over, unless you require a carer.
If you want two tickets, submit the name of your guest or carer when you apply.
You will only receive confirmation if you are allocated tickets. Please do not repeat your request for tickets, unless you have to cancel or change your options.
All tickets have to be collected at the venue, 30 minutes before the performance starts.
