The ActiveWestmintser Awards 2018 took place on Friday 7 December 2018 at Lord’s Cricket Ground to celebrate the contribution of individuals and organisations that change lives through their dedication to physical activity, leisure and sport.
The Blend West End Choir Group welcomed guests and the City of London and Westminster Gymnastics Academy opened the awards with a performance, before host, Sky Sports presenter David Garrido took centre stage. Now in its ninth year, the ceremony was also attended by special guests; 6 time Olympian and winner of a gold medal at the 1984 Olympics, Tessa Sanderson, CBE and Commonwealth multiple medallist at table tennis and a Champions of the Future ambassador, Tin-Tin Ho.
