The Old Marylebone Town Hall

Transport for London will be carrying out roadworks to the Marylebone Road starting in January 2018. This will result in limited access to the front of the building by road. To find out more, visit the TfL website.

We are delighted to announce that the Old Marylebone Town Hall, NW1 5PT, has officially reopened.

The faithful refurbishment has taken 4 years and involved preserving as much of the original fabric of the building as possible. There are 7 stunning ceremonies rooms to choose from and these can all be seen on our ceremonies website A Day To Remember.

The Old Marylebone Town Hall is one of the most iconic wedding and ceremony venues in the heart of London. We are already taking bookings online right up until December 2019, meaning that you can find your ideal date in which to book your wedding, civil partnership and vow renewal ceremony.

Registrars will be on hand to discuss your ceremony, give tours of the building, and check availability for you. If you are interested in attending an open evening, please register your interest.

Disabled access

If you or any member of your wedding party are disabled or unable to climb the steps at the front of the building, disabled access is available via the main reception of the Sammy Ofer Centre of the London Business School. In order for us to arrange access via this entrance, we ask that you notify us at least 48 hours prior to your ceremony. You will also need to download and complete a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEPs (PDF 320KB) for each disabled person, or those with mobility issues attending on the day and return the form to: registeroffice@westminster.gov.uk.

There are 11 steps from street level to the front door of the Old Marylebone Town Hall and 29 steps from the first floor to the second floor, where all seven of the ceremony room are located. Disabled toilets are also available on the first floor with lift access between the two floors.

How to find us

By car

There is a pick-up and drop-off point at the front of the building (although this is currently out of use due to the roadworks), but vehicles are not permitted to wait here. However, there is a multi-story car park found directly opposite from the Old Marylebone Town Hall. This is a privately owned car park, so parking fees will apply.

By public transport

The building is a short five minute walk from Marylebone (Bakerloo line) and Baker Street (Hammersmith & City, Circle, Metropolitan, Bakerloo and Jubilee lines) underground stations. The two nearest bus stops, served by a number of different routes, are located on Marylebone Road (Stop P - Westbound, Stop N - Eastbound) and on Gloucester Place (Stop Q - Northbound). A journey planner can be found on the Transport for London website to help you plan your route.

For those coming from further afield, several mainline railway stations including Marylebone, Paddington, Euston, St Pancras and King's Cross are within easy reach of the building.

The location of the building can be found on Google Maps.
