Other projects in Harrow Road
Aside from 300 Harrow Road, Westminster City Council is working with the community to deliver a handful of other housing and place projects in the area.

We are currently preparing to build 11 new homes for social rent at Lapworth Court, Senior Street, and Desbororugh Close. All of these homes are three-bedroom, five-person units, meaning they are ideal for families on the housing waiting list.
These homes will be prioritised for local people and contribute to the council’s goal to build 1,850 new affordable homes by 2023.

We have been completing fire safety works at the buildings on Warwick Estate. So far, we have removed cladding and improved the safety of balconies.

300 Harrow Road also comes under the Harrow Road District Centre, which is recognised by Westminster City Council as a priority area for change and improvement.
Working alongside local residents and stakeholders, the Council are producing a ‘Place Plan’ to describe the existing issues and priorities, establish overarching objectives for the area and give details on a range of realistic projects that will help deliver immediate and longer-term improvement.
