Flexible Response Service
What is challenging behaviour?
People who display challenging behaviour can sometimes:
- Hurt themselves
- Hurt other people

When any of these things happen people may have to live in more restrictive settings or may have limited access to the community. This can result in a decreased quality of life.

We will work in partnership with the person and the people who are important to them to understand what their behaviour means. We will help to develop effective strategies for managing, decreasing and where possible stopping the behaviour that is challenging.
