  1. Parking Cards are available at all Westminster City Council's libraries and One Stop Services.

  2. Absolutely. You can buy a stock of cards in advance to give to your visitors. This takes away the hassle of buying Parking Cards on the day your visitors arrive.

  3. No. Parking Cards are only available as £2 or £4 cards. If you wish to pay for less than £2 worth of parking you must use an alternative pay method such as Pay by Phone or Pay & Display.

  4. No. Parking Cards are not refundable.

  5. If your parking costs more than £4 you can use more than one card to cover the cost. So for example if you want £8 worth of parking you could use two £4 cards or four £2 cards. Remember though that the arrival date and time on all the cards should be the same and all the cards must be placed carefully on your dashboard so the details are clearly visible to the Civil Enforcement Officer.

  6. When you arrive in a parking bay you should note the charge per hour. This varies according to the parking zone and will be between £1 and £4. The table below shows how long you can park for in each zone with a £2 or a £4 parking card

  7. We recommend you buy your Parking Card before you park as you may only leave your vehicle unattended for 5 minutes before a Penalty Charge Notice can be issued.

  8. No. If a part has been scratched incorrectly the card will not be valid and you will be liable for enforcement action if you use when parking. No replacement or refund will be offered.

  9. In this case you would have to pay £4 to park for one hour (one £4 card or two £2 cards). This payment would allow you to stay for 1 hour 20 minutes. Alternatively you might want to consider another method of payment.

  10. In this case you would have to pay £2 to park for one hour. This payment would allow you to stay for two hours. Alternatively you might want to consider another method of payment.

  11. Yes, though your vehicle must be parked within any relevant parking bay markings. Parking Cards are only valid within the Westminster City borough.

  12. If you use a Parking Card outside that area you are liable to enforcement action from the other borough.

  13. Alternative payment methods should be used for motorcycles as the Parking Card cannot be securely displayed.

  14. No. After the stated date the card will cease to be valid and you will be liable for enforcement action.

  15. Yes. You only have to display a £2 Parking Card showing your arrival date and time and you will get one hour free parking in addition to the Parking time covered by the Card.
