Dispensations

A yellow line dispensation allows people to park on a single yellow line (or in special cases on double yellow lines) if a vehicle is required to:

  • carry out a specific work purpose,
  • be as close to the premises as possible, and
  • no alternative parking space is available. 

If you want to film or hold a special event you must obtain permission from the Council's Special Events Team prior to purchasing a dispensation.
