More opportunities to use Pay by Phone parking

There are now even more opportunities for motorists to use Pay by Phone parking in Westminster.

From Monday 14 January 2008, Pay by Phone parking will be offered as a complementary method of payment at all metered and Pay and Display bays in Knightsbridge, Belgravia and Pimlico (parking zone A).

This means that motorists can either Pay by Phone or use cash or card to pay at meters and Pay and Display machines in this area.

This is great news for motorists who are already registered for Pay by Phone parking as they can now use the technology in a fifth area of the city.

Pay by Phone parking is already available in Covent Garden, Soho, Mayfair, St James, Marylebone, Bayswater, Fitzrovia, and the area around Harrow Road.

For other motorists, it is an excellent opportunity to give Pay by Phone parking a go, and see just how easy and convenient it is.

I have not registered for Pay by Phone parking or would like to know more about it.

A decision will be made on the removal of the meters in the near future.
