Opening times

Most of our car parks are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year*. They are manned by our teams of attendants and security guards during opening times as well as our Mobile Response team.

*Oxford Street and Cramer Street car parks close overnight.  Please see individual car park pages for operating hours.  Even if a car park is not open 24 hours a day, a season ticket holder who drives a car will be able to gain access with their swipecard.

Electric Vehicle Policy

The Council recognises the importance of reducing air pollution caused by vehicle emissions and the need to encourage reduced and zero emission vehicles to the City.

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycle parking is available in selected car parks on a season ticket basis.  These car parks are: Harley, Knightsbridge, Leicester Square, Pimlico, Queensway, Soho and St John's Wood.

Please note that access is restricted to the times the car park is open (usually 24 hours or 6am - Midnight.)  Please check at time of enquiry.

Resident's Car Parking Application

Local residents may be eligible to buy a permit to park at their nearest Westminster City Council car park. Please call 020 7402 5922 or email Westminster City Council car parks for information and availability.

Facilities for people with disabilities

Some of our car parks have bays to help people with disabilities. These car parks are: Abingdon, Oxford Street, Cramer, Leicester Square, Park Lane / Marble Arch, Pimlico, Queensway, Soho, Trafalgar.

The normal rates applies for parking.  These bays cannot be reserved.

All Westminster City Council car parks have been awarded Safer Car Park status. We are the only car park operator in London to have 100% Safer Car Park status.
