Residents with disabilities

Eligibility Criteria

Disabled Westminster residents may qualify for a White Badge and a Blue Badge (if required) if you:

• are registered blind;
• receive the higher rate of the mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA);
• receive War Pensioner’s Mobility Supplement;
• receive a Government Grant towards the upkeep of a vehicle, or have a vehicle supplied;
• have a permanent or substantial disability which prevents you from walking or makes it considerably difficult for you to do so.

Non residents who work in Westminster

If you are disabled, do not live in Westminster but work in the borough you may be eligible to apply for a White Badge. You will need to provide confirmation of the days and hours you work from a fixed base in Westminster from your employer.  You will be required to attend an assessment of your mobility by an occupational therapist. 

Your employer should provide off street parking where this is possible.
