Considerate Roadworks Scheme

To minimise the problems and inconvenience caused by roadworks, the City Council has developed the "Considerate Roadworks Scheme", modelled on its very successful Considerate Builders scheme.

The "Considerate Roadworks Scheme" aims to encourage Statutory Undertakers and contractors working on the City's streets to carry out their operations in a safe and considerate manner, in accordance with a Code of Good Practice.
