Road safety

Our aim is to enhance the quality of life by reducing the number of road accidents - and their personal and social consequences and cost - through education, training and publicity.

The Road Safety Unit provides advice, resources, information and support for all ages and road users' groups.

We run cycle proficiency training courses for children over nine years of age and adults. We also manage the City's school crossing patrol service.
