WELDIS is Westminster's Information Service for older people and carers, and adults and children of all ages with disabilities, chronic illness, mental health concerns, substance misuse and other challenges.

Putting Spare Time to Good Use

Would you like to make new friends, learn new skills, and stay active in your local community?

Do you have experience of bringing up young children perhaps as a parent, family friend or relation?

Do you understand the challenges of family life and would enjoy helping another family who are finding it hard to cope?

Have you a couple of hours free each week? And might the option of a formal qualification be a foot on the ladder towards a job?

Home-Start will train you to support and offer friendship to a family in their own homes, or at special family groups at social events. Training is FREE and expenses are paid.
