Tour of Britain cycle race
On 22nd September the final stage of The Tour of Britain comes to London. A hundred of the world’s top cyclists will compete on an 8.8km circuit along closed roads in Westminster and the City.
The race starts and finishes on Whitehall and taking in Victoria Embankment, Upper and Lower Thames Street and Tower Hill.
Affected Roads in Westminster
3am - 9pm: Downing Street, King Charles Street, Craigs Court, Parliament Street, Whitehall
7am - 6pm: Great Scotland Yard, Whitehall Court, Scotland Place, Craven Street, Northumberland Street, Whitehall Gardens, Whitehall Place, Parliament Square
8am - 6pm: Richmond Terrace, Derby Gate, Cannon Row, Savoy Place, Westminster Bridge, Savoy Place, Savoy Street, Temple Place, Great George Street, St Margaret Street, Villier Street, Embankment Place, Middle Temple Lane, Westminster Bridge Road, Victoria Embankment
