Your streets should be in good repair, with clear road markings
Roads / carriageways
Roads in Westminster should provide a good surface for all road users. This requires them to be free of hazardous pot-holes or other defects – be it serious cracking, rutting, distortion or subsidence of the surface; or loose, coverless or damaged ironwork.
Defects in the carriageway of 20mm or more, and crowning or depressions 50mm or more, will be investigated as a potential hazard and will be made safe where necessary.
Road Markings

All road markings that are required to regulate traffic flows, mark pedestrian crossing points and control vehicle parking should be clearly defined, consistent, accurate and easy to see by road users and pedestrians.
Markings will be repainted wherever they are significantly faded, worn, damaged, or inaccurate. Any markings with 30% or more of their surface area lost will be renewed.
Spillages and Drainage
The carriageway should be free of spillages (oil, diesel etc) and water should drain freely in order to avoid substantial pooling.
