Shopfronts and Street Trading

Following feedback from local residents and traders, a project is being developed to address problems with shop fronts and forecourt trading on Harrow Road. The objective is to work with local traders to create a more attractive and consistent image along the Harrow Road shopfronts and to reduce obstructions from trading on forecourts.

The possibility of incorporating a "Shopfront Grant Scheme" is being discussed - the aim being to enable retailers to enhance the appearance of their shopfronts through the provision of grant assistance.

Status: preliminary ideas are under discussion.
