During controlled hours, charges apply for parking in Pay & Display, Pay by Phone and Shared Use Bays. Please check on-street equipment or street signs for prices and the maximum stay limit (usually 4 hours).

If you stay beyond the maximum permitted stay, you may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice, even if payment has been made to extend your stay.

Prices per hour

Tariffs in zones A, D and H increased on Monday 7 November 2011.  From this date A zone tariffs became £3.60 p/hr, D zone £2.40 p/hr and H zone £2.40 p/hr.

Tariffs in zones B, F1, F2, F4 and F5 increased to £2.40 p/hr (B zone) and £4.40 p/hr (F1, F2, F4 and F5 zones) on Monday 14 November 2011.

Tariffs in zone C increased to £1.20 p/hr on Monday 21 November 2011.

* Tariffs in zones E, F3, F6 and G are due to increase in the New Year 2012, date to be confirmed. From this date E and G zone tariffs will be £4.80 p/hr and F3 and F6 zones £4.40. The variable tariff in E zone is being scrapped.
