Limousines

photo of a white limousine

A vehicle is expected to fit within a parking space which is approx 4.5 metres long. Any vehicle not parked correctly within bay markings may be issued with a PCN.

  • During controlled hours, oversized vehicles such as limousines can park in shared-use parking bays, as there are no dividing markings in this type of parking bay. A valid ticket is still required for parking in shared-use parking bays.

  • After controlled hours, the vehicles can also be parked on single yellow lines, provided that there are no timeplates or kerb markings that indicate restrictions are in place.

  • Oversized vehicles cannot park at meters or in Pay & Display bays that have dividing markings.

Chauffeurs of limousines may not wait for passengers on any yellow lines during controlled hours or in any Westminster parking bays unless they can fit the whole vehicle in a space and also make the appropriate payment
