Eco Vehicles

Westminster has the largest on-street recharging service for electric vehicles in the UK. There are almost 50 electric vehicle recharging bays in our Car Parks (available to Westminster Car Park Green Card scheme members) and 16 on-street recharging points including:

Albermarle Street (W1S), Berkley Square (W1J), Hinde Street (W1J), Southampton Street (WC2), Spencer Street (SW1E), Sutherland Avenue (W9), Wellington Street (WC2A), Wilton Street (SW1X)

New points coming soon:

Carlisle Street (W1D), Lincoln's Inn Fields (WC2A), Cleveland Gardens (W2), Lupus Street (SW1V), Circus Road (NW8)

How to Register

Anyone with an electric vehicle who either lives or works in Westminster can use these recharging points once they have registered.  It costs £75 a year to be a member.   All registered members receive a membership pack which includes:

1. An information booklet explaining how the recharging posts work

2. A high visibility charging cable, which must be used for recharging

3. An individually programmed key to access all recharging points

4. Access to the telephone help line for queries and issues

5. The terms and conditions of use
