Enforcement of suspended bays

Loading / Unloading

A suspension that has been arranged for loading or unloading must not be used to park a vehicle. A penalty charge notice (PCN) may be issued if no loading or unloading is evident.

Parking

If you stop or park in a suspended bay without authorisation for parking, a PCN may be issued.

Resident Permit Holders (parked in resident bays)

We will not issue a PCN to resident permit holders who park in suspended resident bays in their own zone for the first two days of a suspension, but we will issue warning notices and will try to contact you by phone to ask you to move your car. On the third day of a suspension we will issue a PCN.

The same process applies if the resident is parked in a Pay by Phone or Pay & Display bay between 8.30am - 9.30am on the first day of the suspension.
