Temporary vehicle change

If you need to use a courtesy car or a hire vehicle because your vehicle is temporarily off the road,  we can issue you with temporary cover for 14 days.

Please make sure you have to hand:

• your current permit number
• the replacement vehicle details

You will be given a Unique Reference Number (URN) immediately, this must be displayed next to your existing permit in the replacement vehicle.

Please Note:

• There is a £10 charge for a temporary change
• Temporary cover cannot be reissued unless a further period of 14 days has elapsed
• The temporary change is subject to the same terms and conditions as a resident permit
