Temporary Permit

If you are a new applicant and are unable to provide all of the proof documents straight away, we will consider issuing you with a temporary one month permit provided that:

• you can show us at least one of the required proofs of residence, and
• one proof of vehicle ownership from the list of required documents. Find out what documents you need to submit with your application form
  
  
  
  

PLEASE NOTE: You must pay the full annual permit fee. You will also have to produce all the missing documents within the period of the interim cover.

Please do not apply for any cover if you are unable to provide full documentation. If you have any problems, you are advised to contact us to discuss why you cannot produce those documents within one month.

Westminster City Council reserves the right not to issue a temporary permit.
