Applying for the first time

To find out if you are eligible for a parking permit click here
Apply Online

You can now apply for a first time permit online. After paying by card you will get a temporary permit to print off and display in your vehicle. A one year permit will then be sent to you in 3-5 working days. All you need is:

  • Your address and vehicle details 
  • An email account
  • Debit or Credit card to make payment
  • Residency Proof - you will need to upload two residency proofs 
  • Vehicle Proof -  you will need to upload two vehicle proofs
  • Scanner, camera or camera phone (at least 2 megapixles)
  • A printer

If you do not have two address or vehicle proof we can issue you with a one month temporary permit if you can supply at least one address proof and one vehicle proof. You will need to submit the remain proof within one month or your permit will be cancelled.

IF YOUR POSTCODE IS NOT RECOGNISED YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO APPLY ONLINE, PLEASE CALL 020 7823 4567 OR COMPLETE A PAPER APPLICATION AND APPLY BY POST. (YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO APPLY AT A YOUR ONE STOP EXPRESS).

Your One Stop Express

If you do not have a printer, scanner or camera and/or need help to complete the application online, you can go to a Your One Stop Express Location where a library staff member will be able to assist you with the online application. All you need to bring with you is:

  • Your address and vehicle details 
  • Debit or Credit card to make payment
  • Residency Proof - you will need two residency proofs
  • Vehicle Proof -  you will need two vehicle proofs
    •  If you do not have two address or vehicle proof we can issue you with a one month temporary permit if you can supply at least one address proof and one vehicle proof. You will need to submit the remain proof within one month or your permit will be cancelled.
