How do I apply?

There are 3 ways to apply for a trades permit:

• Online
• By phone
• By post

You will need the following to complete your application:

• Address and parking zone where the work or service is being carried out. (Find your parking zone here)
• Description of the work or service
• Vehicle registration number
• Dates for when you require this permit
• Your contact details (postal address or e-mail)
• A valid debit or credit card to pay for the permit

By phone

Tel: 020 7641 4646, 8am - 6pm, Mon-Fri (excl Bank Holidays)

• An application can be made over the phone by 6pm the day before this permit is required
  
  
• Payment must be made with your application. We accept credit and debit cards (not American Express or Diner's Club Cards)
  
  
• Your permit will be emailed to you as a 'PDF' document. You will need to print off your permit and display it against the windscreen inside your vehicle
  
  

By post

Please note:

• Your postal application must be received a minimum of 5 working days* before the start date of work (*working days refers to Mon-Fri only and excludes Bank Holidays)
  
  
• Payment must be made by cheque with your application. Please make your cheque payable to the 'City of Westminster'
  
  
• Your permit will be posted through Royal Mail. You will need to display your permit against the windscreen inside your vehicle
